Bengaluru, September 10, 2025 β In a proud moment for Karnataka, two sisters from Kodagu district have brought glory to the state by receiving prestigious national-level recognitions for their contribution to the field of education.

Monnanda Shobha Eerappa was conferred the National Teachersβ Award, while her sister Rashika Eerappa received the Central Kaushalya Acharya Award. The awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a special ceremony in New Delhi, recognizing their dedication, innovation, and commitment to shaping the future of young learners.
